01General wellness only
FitLog is designed to support a healthy lifestyle. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. FitLog is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition.
In an emergency, do not rely on FitLog. If you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, very high or very low blood sugar or blood pressure, or any other urgent symptom, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
02Talk to your doctor first
Always consult a qualified doctor or registered dietitian before you:
- Start a new diet or workout plan, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, recovering from illness or injury, or have a condition such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney disease or an eating disorder.
- Change, start or stop any medication.
- Make decisions based on readings or trends shown in the app.
Never ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in FitLog.
03AI plans and suggestions
Diet and workout plans are generated by AI from the information you provide. They are general suggestions, not prescriptions. FitLog considers the conditions and physical issues you add, but it cannot examine you and may not account for everything about your health. Stop any exercise that causes pain, dizziness or discomfort.
04Meal scanner estimates
Calories, protein, carbs and fat shown by the meal photo scanner are estimates. Accuracy depends on the photo, portion size, ingredients and cooking method. Do not rely on them for medical nutrition therapy, insulin dosing or other clinical decisions.
05Health readings and trends
Step counts depend on your phone’s sensors and may not be exact. Heart rate, blood pressure and blood sugar values are what you enter; FitLog does not measure them and cannot confirm they are correct. Health scores and trends are simple summaries for motivation, not clinical assessments.
06Period predictions
Cycle and period predictions are estimates based on the dates you log. They are not a method of contraception and must not be used to prevent or plan pregnancy. Speak to a doctor about irregular cycles or any concerns.
07Medicine reminders
Medicine reminders are a convenience. Notifications can be delayed or missed because of phone settings, battery saving or connectivity. Always follow your doctor’s and pharmacist’s instructions, and keep your own record of important doses.
08Yoga, exercise and tips
Exercise and yoga instructions, mood tips and daily quotes are general information. Practise within your limits, warm up, and use proper equipment. Mood tips are not therapy; if you are struggling, please reach out to a mental health professional or a trusted person.
09Use at your own discretion
