01Who we are
FitLog is operated by EDWID TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD, 396, 3RD-FR, Gitanjali Apartment, Madurdaha, HOSSAINPUR, E.K.T, Kolkata, 700107 (“FitLog”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the FitLog mobile app and website, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have.
We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and other applicable laws. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, FitLog is the Data Fiduciary for your personal data.
02What we collect

| Health & activity logs | Steps, distance, weight, heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar, water intake, meals, workouts, mood entries and period/cycle data. |
| Photos & documents | Meal photos you scan, and prescriptions or lab reports you upload to the document vault. |
| Medicines | Medicine names, doses and reminder schedules you add. |
| Device & usage | Device model, operating system, app version, notification token, crash reports and basic usage information needed to keep the app working. |
| Messages to us | Anything you send through our contact form or by email. |
Health information is sensitive. You decide what to add — most health fields are optional, and FitLog still works if you leave them blank, though your plans will be less personalised.
03How we use your data
- To create and update your personalised diet and workout plans.
- To estimate calories and nutrients from meal photos you scan.
- To send reminders you have turned on — water, meals, workouts and medicines.
- To show your health records, trends and cycle predictions.
- To sign you in securely and keep your account safe.
- To fix bugs, improve features and respond to your requests.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.
04Your consent
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you create an account and when you add specific information, or for other lawful purposes permitted under the DPDP Act. You can withdraw your consent at any time from the app or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened, but some features may stop working without the data they need.
05App permissions

You can turn any permission off in your phone’s settings. The related feature will stop working until you turn it back on.
06How we protect your data
- Data travels between the app and our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
- Access to personal data within our team is limited to people who need it to run the service.
No system is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
07How long we keep it
We keep your personal data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep certain records for a longer period to comply with law. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis within [30 days].
08Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access — get a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct and update — fix anything that is inaccurate or incomplete. Most profile details can be edited directly in the app.
- Erase — ask us to delete your personal data. See Delete Account.
- Withdraw consent — at any time.
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer.

09Children
FitLog is meant for adults. We do not knowingly process personal data of anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, as required by the DPDP Act. If you believe a child has given us data without such consent, please contact us and we will delete it.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will let you know in the app or by other means before they take effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
